JOURNEY TO THE WEST COAST is an original digital short series that will follows PQ, aka “Pimp Q,” a Chinese Emcee from Shanghai as he journeys to the Far West on a hip hop pilgrimage to Los Angeles.

Influenced by West Coast rap at an early age, he’s finally getting a chance to visit LA, the motherland of his heroes: a little 2Pac, Cube, Dre, and even Snoop. Along the way, he’ll meet an eclectic mix of LA’s local rappers, producers, FOB’s, and hustlers, all in the hope of enlightening his #swagger, despite being a fish out of water.

Featuring guests such as: Los Angeles-based rappers Gita, VerBS, Ph. Dragon, Tony Rey, Dre Comers; Hodari Sababu (aka the Game’s stepfather) of Hood Life tour, music producer Andy Lee, and Mark of Debonair Barber & Shave Parlor
